BS-1C-HA Rheology Modifier is used to increase viscosity and gel strengths in drilling fluid system. It has proven effective in drilling and completion fluids. The product is also effective in special applications such as casing packs, packer fluids and spotting fluids. Sufficient share are required to develop viscosity when using BS-1C-HA to build fresh mud. The typical concentrations range from 10 to 30kg/m3 for most drilling fluid applications, depending on the base fluid and system requirements. Mineral oils generally require higher concentrations than diesel oils. For system maintenance, BS-1C-HA should be added as needed to maintain the flow properties and gel strengths in the desired ranges.
